Ta Nehisi Coates: From Deb

The review of BETWEEN The WORLD & ME that I recommended is written by Randall Kennedy, titled A CARICATURE OF BLACK REALITY: http://prospect.org/article/ta-nehisi-coatess-caricature-black-reality –essentially saying “Ta-Nehisi Coates has written the race book of the year. Too bad it’s disempowering.” Although I often disagreed with Kennedy, I found the essay a well written, engaging assessment.
